Weed Treatment:  Lake is to be treated by the end of this week or early next week.  Midwest Aqua Care charges $97.40 for copper sulfate.  If more than 3 bags of 50lbs are purchased then it is $93/bag.  Community Lawn Care charges $70/bag.  Copper sulfate works well short term and apprx. 4-5 bags are needed for the shoreline. Motion made and passed to purchase 15 bags from Community Lawn Care.  Individuals interested in purchasing bags from the lake association for personal use should contact Craig.

Paving: The second coat of asphalt is to be applied before Memorial Day.  Concrete and asphalt repair are being done now.   The landscaping that has been torn up will not be replaced according to Paul.  Lance S. states the netting on your grass replacement area can be removed so cutting grass will be easier.  Watch out for the metal stakes.  On a different note, there are at least 6 families showing an interest in having their driveways done.  A group discount on asphalt will be researched.  If interested, contact Craig.

DSL: Dave T. reports a cost study is being done to add DSL to those past the area covered by the other “box”.  Apparently there are 100 homes interested in this area.  The box is located near the corner of 144 and 33.  The next step after the cost study would be a petition.  The area will need to be canvassed for signatures.

July 4th Paul will be displaying his fireworks on July 3rd.  The annual boat parade is scheduled for 2pm on July 4th.  Decorate your boat(s) and join the fun.

June 15th meeting:  Meeting is scheduled to take place on the lake.  Those without boats or whom what a ride find a dock and wave a boat down for a ride to the middle.  If it rains the meeting will be held at Paul’s house.
