Meeting Minutes 

September 26, 2010

The meeting was called to order at 3:45 pm by President Angela Miller.

Members present were Angela Miller, Sue Brailler. John & Theresa Witstine.

Minutes from the August meeting were read.

Treasurers report was given, balance on $2295.08.  There is a check for a load of cans to be deposited and bills from the picnic not yet submitted to Jim for payment.  To date all copper sulfate treatment cost has been covered  by the sale of aluminum cans.

Secchi Disc reading on 9/26 was 7 feet.

Rick and Nancy Dehmer received an extension of time to resolve the culvert issue.  They thanked us for the offer of help and were in the process of getting quotes for the project.

Theresa will check with soil and water on the lake monitoring project for next year.

There were 34 attendants for the lake picnic at an estimated cost of $7.50 per person.  Jim Miller and partner won the bean bag toss completion.

There were questions about treatment options for the coon tail weed we are experiencing this year.  Angela is checking with the DNR what permit options we have.  She is also looking into companies that provide lake treatment services.

Meeting was adjourned at 4:20 pm.
