Minutes from the August meeting were read and approved.

 

The treasurers report was given and approved.  Savings was $3247.24 and Checking was $219.46.  There were bills from the picnic still outstanding from Sue Braillier and Paul Johnson.  It was determined to hold off on purchasing more Copper Sulfate.  There was a discussion on were to store  the copper sulfate, and how often to treat the lake with it.

 

Paul Johnson talked about reducing association dues.  We talked about  costs of the lake management plan.  Costs could vary from $2000 to $10000, depending on what needs to be done and how much we do ourselves.  Paul Johnson commented we will loose membership if we raise dues.

 

Secchi disk reading was 3 1/2 to 4 feet in the last 3 weeks.

 

Angela reported on the picnic, it went well. Two families from Lake Charlotte and a few from across 9th street attended.  They said they enjoyed the picnic and would come again.

 

Officer elections were held.  Jim Miller is President,  Gary Jackson is Vice President,  Julie Kasa is Treasurer and Theresa Witstine is Secretary.
