Minutes 1. Minutes from last meeting were read and approved. 2. Treasurer’s Report was read and approved:
3. Algae Blooms and Curly Leaf a. Caitlin and Theresa shared information regarding treating your own weeds and algae. Options are granules or liquid. Prices are from $98 to $210. It would cost $7000 to $12000 to do the whole lake. b. The culvert needs to be cleaned out. There’s no water flowing. Nancy H. will ask Nancy D. if we can clean it out. If we get permission, Caitlin will be asking for volunteers via email. c. Copper Sulfate to treat algae. Jim talked to Paul Johnson, and he still has the set up. A 40 – 50 lb bag is $90. Each treatment takes about six bags. Jim said there’s enough money in the treasury to cover this. It was approved to purchase the copper sulfate and treat the lake, led by Jim Miller. d. Caitlin will check to see if there is DNR funding for Curly Leaf, as it’s an invasive species. 4. Next Two Meetings: a. March 12, 2019 7 pm: At Michelle Smeby’s b.
